We worked with Opulon on promotional video content for vocational schools across Slovakia. Looking back, what stood out most was their creative approach and their ability to adapt the content to current trends. It genuinely helped increase the reach and impact of what we were putting out there.

### The Goal

DSAkademien needed more applicants for their Trnava school. No ad budget. No existing social presence. Just a handful of videos and a clear objective: get the school in front of the right audience.

### Going Viral With DSAkademien

DSAkademien is Slovakia’s largest private school network, part of the German educational group EBG. They operate schools across the country with a focus on polytechnic education, dual learning programs, and strong foreign language instruction. The Trnava location specifically needed to fill its incoming class with new applicants, and [social media](https://opulon.org/services/social-media-marketing) was the channel they wanted to try.

We were initially hired to [produce five short-form videos](https://opulon.org/services/content-production). That was the entire scope. No ad spend, no paid promotion. Just organic content. Every single video from that first batch surpassed 100,000 views, with the best performing one crossing half a million. The school immediately wanted more.

Out of the videos we went on to produce, one became something nobody expected. 27.7 million views on Instagram. 1.4 million on TikTok. Over 1 million on Facebook. One of the most viral videos to come out of Central Europe that year. US influencers were commenting on it. The reach went far beyond Slovakia, far beyond schools, and far beyond anything the client had imagined when they asked for five videos.

None of this was paid. Every view was organic. The reason it worked is that we did not approach this as marketing. We [studied what performs on these platforms](https://opulon.org/services/research), guided the students through the process, and created content that felt genuine and entertaining first. The school’s message came through naturally because the content was good enough that people actually wanted to watch it and share it.

The result was more than filled application slots. DSAkademien became the most viewed school in Slovakia, gained over 10,000 new followers, and now has a brand presence among young people that most institutions could not buy with any budget. That is the difference between running ads and creating something people genuinely care about.
