### Thursday call, Saturday cameras

FUTBALIC’s production for the Czech team fell through days before the reveal. They reached us on Thursday. By Saturday we had a concept, a crew, and a full shoot day.

### Hundreds of thousands of views

Seven videos carried the Czech team’s reveal. They outperformed nearly everything else on FUTBALIC’s page that month and turned a roster announcement into an event.

### Revealing the Czech Team

Some fixtures sell themselves. Slovakia against the Czech Republic is one of them, and FUTBALIC, an influencer-led football project, built its July event around exactly that match. A format like this lives on how much the audience cares about the people in the shirts, which made the Czech team’s reveal one of the most important beats of the whole campaign. Days before it was due to happen, the production lined up for it fell apart.

The call reached us on a Thursday. The shoot could not move: players were booked for Saturday and the match was closing in, so the usual weeks of preparation had to fit into two days. We took over the [ideation](https://opulon.org/services/product-strategy), shaped the reveal concept and the player videos, and locked in our videographers for the weekend. Cameras rolled on Saturday, post-production started as soon as they stopped, and FUTBALIC posted the first video on Sunday.

The brief was the entire Czech side of the campaign, so the roster came out through our videos first: the reveal itself, then a series introducing the players. We handled [production and post-production](https://opulon.org/services/content-production) end to end and cut every piece for [FUTBALIC’s social channels](https://opulon.org/services/social-media-marketing), built to be watched, shared, and argued about.

Seven videos went out, and together they brought in hundreds of thousands of views, outperforming nearly every other video on the account in that stretch. Better than the numbers was what they did for the event: by matchday the Czech team wasn’t a list of names but a side people had opinions about, and the headline match had the [visibility](https://opulon.org/services/digital-marketing) an event like this runs on. The call had come two days before the shoot. Watching the videos, you would never know.
